I’m Den, I coach functional fitness which is simply training that builds strength, fitness, and conditioning for everyday life.
I often compete at an elite level myself, but that’s never an expectation of the people I coach. Some clients enjoy training towards events like HYROX, DEKA, ATHX, or functional fitness competitions, and others simply want to feel stronger and fitter.
I believe exercise works best when it’s something you enjoy. If you don’t like a certain exercise, we’ll find another way to get the same result. Exercise is very versatile, and it’s my job to match a programme to your personal needs.
I work with a wide range of people from clients who’ve never stepped foot in a gym, to those training for world championship events, as well as neurodivergent clients who benefit from a clear, calm, adaptable approach. What they all share is a willingness to show up and engage in the process. And that’s all I ask. If you’re invested, so am I.
I’m very honest in my coaching and I care about the people I work with. I won’t sugar-coat what needs improving, but I don’t coach by shouting at you either. I cheer for your personal wins, because your progress genuinely means something to me.

Whether you’re brand new to the gym or feeling a bit anxious about stepping onto the floor, I specialize in making fitness approachable. For me, 'functional' means improving your life outside these walls so you can show up as your best self for your work, your goals, and your family.
